About Us & Our place

So finally we [Liz & Ian] bought our new home, Hillcroft, in Pembrokeshire. The dream of living by the coast finaly realised and we started our adventure with Y Cwt Cwtch, our Shepherds hut, our planned home whilst we renovated our 1930's single storey dwelling.

Moving from a happy life in a small Cheshire village, packing in our day jobs, we decided it was time to do what we had often romanticised and dreamt about, a life on the coast of West Wales.

Y Cwt Cwtch, the Cuddle Hut, then became our 'way of life' and is now open for your escape to Pembrokeshire. Crafted in Oswestry where she was purpose built to our own specification by the craftsmen of Wigmarsh Shepherds Huts.  A perfect retreat, a break away or even a longer stay, you can share our adventure as we share the story of Y Cwt Cwtch from the dream to the reality. Adding Spiggy Holes, our revitalised Summerhouse in 2020 has added more flexibility and shared stays here at Hillcroft.

In all, here is a place for you to escape to and enjoy the wonders of Pembrokeshire. The coastal path, the beaches, discover hidden places and the starry skies, adventures on land and sea and all on the doorsteps of Y Cwt Cwtch & Spiggy Holes.
